The roles of women in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) have been a great inspiration to the participants of the Asia Nation Network (APNN) program. The Meeting of Asia and Pacific Women in Science and Technology (MAPWiST) aims to build a “Map for Policy Development” of action plans towards gender equality in STEM for Asia and the Pacific nations. This international policy forum is geared towards discussion on the present conditions and policies of Gender equality as well as to encourage exchange of information on the results of the international survey on key issues for STEM professionals in Asia & Pacific nations.
